The weekend of 22nd February, six students ranging from Year 10 to Year 13 tramped the Pakihi Track as part of the adventurous journey section of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
They hiked just over 20km over two days, and camped out for one night. They tramped through both rain and shine, and came out with excellent experiences and lessons learned. Thanks to Gillian and Nicola from the local tramping club for accompanying the group on the tramp.
