Regional Race Unity Speech Competition
The regional Race Unity Speech Competition was held at the Waikanae Surf Club last night. This year the topic was Awhihia te rito- nurture the young. Te Paea Maurirere won, and will now go on to represent the region at the National Race Unity Speech Awards in Auckland. Henarata Pishief was the runner up. Tino pai, you both certainly did Gisborne Girls' High proud with your outstanding polished performances.
