Our DraftStrategic Goals for 2011 and beyond

Using the principles of Te Kotahitanga GPILSEO model we have sought to increase the depth of our operational planning to consider fully sustainable change toward improved teaching, learning and student outcomes with a particular emphasis on Maori student outcomes. This is being reflected in the redevelopment of the strategic plan currently under review and sits with four basic Aspirational goals to guide our future work.

Our goal is to raise the achievement of Maori Students

Aspirational Goals:

Our goal is to develop a culturally responsive pedagogy of relations through the effective teaching profile at the classroom and leadership level.


Aspirational Goals:

Our goal is to collectively advance as a school to embrace and demonstrate 21st century Best evidence educational practice.

Our goal is to review all systems of operation through the lens of student learning, engagement and success and redesign our operational structures to reflect sustainable positive change.

Our goal is to develop and strengthen 21st century leadership skills, thinking and operation to support educational reform at all levels of the organisation.

Our goal is to spread the reform process through active communication and engagement with each stakeholder group and each level of the organisation and wider community.

Our goal is to actively collect, analyse and use data to inform the design, implementation and review of all practices within GGHS and with our interactions with stakeholders.
