You are cordially invited to attend one of the Gisborne Girls' High School, School in action days.Please meet outside the Whare on Stanley Road in the bus bay area just prior to 9.00am.
This is an opportunity for you to find out what Gisborne Girls High School has to offer for your daughter. We have available our prospectus to provide further supporting information for you. This booklet contains important information about learning opportunities, pastoral care supports and the many cultural, sporting and social opportunities which we offer our young women. We believe in the importance of success for all students and pride ourselves on our results and achievements. Also included are enrolment forms.Enrolments close Monday 3rdOctober.
PROGRAMME FOR THE DAY
Powhiri:Students and Whanau are welcomed to the school.
Tour of the school:Students are escorted in small groups around the school by senior student leaders and one of our current year 9 students, during this time they have the opportunity to observe classes at work and participate in a selection of short activities.
Concert: GisborneGirls High School students will present items in the school hall.
Students and parents are invited to attend anOpen Evening on Wednesday 17th August from 5.30pm to 7.00pmin the Information Centre (Wellington Street Entrance). This will be a further opportunity for Parents and potential students to meetstaff, view the facilities and learn what we have to offer. We look forward to seeing you all there.
